The mens’ B grade championship saw the arrival of a new potential star player with Michael Holcombe overcoming veteran Ray Fary to take out the event and will now have his name entered on the honour board.
Alison East and Heather McIntyre will fight out the final of the womens’ singles on December 22nd after fine wins in their semi finals. Alison defeated a gallant Cate Levett while in a titanic struggle which lasted almost three hours Heather defeated Kay Satchell in a thriller.
Four Hamilton players have won their way into the finals of the Association singles on Sunday after winning their section play sections. Well done to Peter Graham, Troy Greed, Alison East and Rhonda Dunbar – we’ll be there to support you!
Norm Pech has continued his fine run in the Thursday social bowls with a win with Neville Huf on Thursday. In second place were the combination of Rob Baker and rising star Noel Murphy.
